An Illinois-based clinical medical laboratory partnered with GEC to install a 147 kW rooftop solar system at its facility. The system is expected to generate approximately 171,299 kWh of clean energy annually, offsetting 23% of the facility's total electricity consumption. This renewable energy investment will also reduce carbon emissions by an estimated 151 metric tons each year—the equivalent of avoiding the CO₂ emissions from consuming more than 17,000 gallons of gasoline.
