Building on a successful sister installation, this plastics manufacturer brought GEC in for their Illinois plant. The critical engineering challenge: designing a fully ballasted system on a gypsum deck roof with zero mechanical attachments permitted. GEC resolved the constraint through multiple structural design iterations, delivering a 771 kW system that performs at specification without compromising roof integrity.
