GEC provides a full range of LEED services, which include LEED consulting, LEED Design, Building Energy Simulation, and Commissioning.

LEED Consulting

• Review of LEED credit requirements with the owner and decisions of the design team.
• Develop and/or modify the LEED checklist.
• Provide assistance to the design team on LEED items, research various LEED credits and credit rulings of necessary, assist with specification development and review specification and provide LEED information to the construction team.
• Assign the design team in preparation of LEED documentation.

LEED Documentation

• Provide information to design team members and contractor that will support LEED documentation.
• Receive LEED submittal and track information.
• Prepare LEED letter templates and distribute for design team/contractor completion.
• Coordinate LEED documentation process.
• Assemble all LEED certification information for submission to the USGBC.

Energy Consulting

• Create and energy simulation model and documentation as required to attain a LEED rating and to simulate and achieve additional energy credits. GEC will perform a DOE-2.1 E building simulation of proposed design and determine compliance with ASHRAE 90.1-1999.
• The model will also be used to optimize building energy performance by simulating various energy efficiency measure proposed by the design team. The number of runs to qualify the benefits of various energy efficiency measures will be determined and provided.
• The deliverable from this task will include energy cost savings due to various energy efficiency measures and LEED documentation for the energy efficiency points.

Commissioning

GEC provides complete commissioning services for LEED certification and obtaining extra LEED point. This includes fundamental as well as enhanced commissioning.
